About the Knowledge Resource Centre:
Gondwana University was established in the year 2011since then the Knowledge Resource Centre (University Library) has made consistent progress in terms of collection of books, periodicals, services and infrastructure. A well-housed and well-managed library is the foundation of modern educational structure. To keep pace with the ever-expanding field of knowledge the Gondwana University,Knowledge Resource Center is being updated from time to time.
The Knowledge Resource Centre occupies an important place in the framework of the university system. It is central place of study & research. The Knowledge resource centre supports teaching, learning, research and extension programs of the University. At present, the Knowledge Resource Centre has 13500+ books and access to 1023 online e-journalsthrough i-Scholar.
The automation of University Knowledge Resource Centre is in progress using KOHA – Integrated Library Management System which enables users to search library’s collection and help them to locate precisely. KOHA includes modules for circulation, cataloging, acquisitions, serials, patron management etc.
Plagiarism detection software: As per the University Grants Commission (Promotion of Academic Integrity and Prevention of Plagiarism in Higher Educational Institutions Regulations, 2018) plagiarism check system is implemented in the university and the URKUND plagiarism software supplied by INFLIBNET Gandhinagar is used to check the Ph.D. thesis and M. Phil. Dissertation to promote the quality of research.
The Knowledge Resource Centre organize information literacy program and training/workshops on reference management, plagiarism etc.

Circulation Section (Issue/Return):10.30 am to 5.00 pm
Reading Room:8.00 am to 8.00 pm
